HungryHungry -Product Marketing Specialist

Howdy HungryHungry team! 👋
I’m a Product / Growth Marketer with 5+ years’ experience working in fast-moving SaaS/Tech scale-ups.
Most of my work sits at the intersection of product, content, and execution — translating features into clear stories, building assets that help adoption and sales, and shipping things quickly in small teams.
This page is a short, scannable snapshot of how I work and why I think I’d be a good fit for this role!
What I bring
Turning product features into clear stories
A big part of my work has been taking product capabilities and explaining them in ways that make sense to real people.
That usually means:
- leading with benefits, not feature dumps
- explaining when and why something matters
- using language customers actually use, not SaaS-y copy

Content and short-form video chops
I’m comfortable owning content end to end.
I’ve scripted, filmed, edited, and published everything from short-form product walkthroughs and demos to onboarding videos, webinars, and repeatable content series (including LinkedIn-led formats).
I also know my way around video editing, and I’ve used AI tools like Altered AI, Descript, and Arcade to repurpose and localise product demos quickly.

Sales enablement & voice of customer expertise
A lot of my best work starts with listening.
I spend time in call recordings, support tickets, demos, and conversations to understand how people actually describe their problems and objections — not just how we talk about the product internally.
That insight usually feeds directly into sales enablement. I’ve worked closely with sales and customer teams to build:
- one-pagers and feature explainers
- simple objection-handling assets
- competitive notes and talk tracks

Why HungryHungry (and Otto)
I’ve spent most of my career working on technical products, which has shaped how I think about clarity and storytelling.
After a bit of a reset last year, I’m now looking for a full-time role where I can apply that product marketing discipline with more room to lean into creative execution.
Otto solves a very real problem for hospitality venues, and it’s a product that suits clear narratives, short-form video, and content that shows value quickly.
This role feels like a natural next step, combining strong product marketing foundations with the chance to flex my creative side more.
Thanks for taking a squiz!
Warmly,
Akila de Silva
